As a past instructor at The Modern College of Design, mentoring and education has become an important value of this business. Sharpe Creative was tasked with the opportunity to develop merchandise for the design college's school year. Concepts were developed around a "Pathway to Passion" campaign as well as general "Spirit Wear." Merch was sold as well as used for recruitment in high schools.
Sketchbooks are a key tool in the journey of a college design student. Ideas are explored and documented. This concept used doodled elements within the shape of an "M" to illustrate the journey of a student of The Modern from their first day to graduation. This design was also translated to a wall graphic that existed in the main hallway. Sketched elements were extended to other marketing materials.
Using elements from Adobe toolbars, an emblem was created to represent the journey of becoming a designer. This illustration was extended to pins and stickers and used as recruitment swag!
