EvergreeNFT was a startup with a unique approach to NFTs. Not only did they have a more green approach they created a platform that makes NFTs more accessible to more people beyond the crypto bros. Sharpe Creative developed a scrappy, start-up identity, and website to help get them rolling. We also helped them skin the UI of their platform.
When concepting for the brand, a sense of "green" and futurism was necessary. In addition, we wanted to come up with a wordmark or logo mark that could be used as a "watermark" in a creative way to make NFT content feel branded and secure. The brand concepts also communicate ideas of the symbiotic relationship between creator and collector.
The selected concept is an abstract ownable mark. Being abstract, it resembles several motifs. A door that swings both ways (seamless access for collectors and creators), a book/library of NFTs, and a wallet/money clip securing transactions and collections. The mark also works well as an avatar or app icon. The mark itself can extend in unique ways for patterns and logo variations.
LAUNCHING THE 1.0
Our goal with the site was to get information live in a scrappy, cost-effective way allowing the client to grow into it as their product evolves and changes. We work with startups regularly, and early on the ability to pivot and iterate is critical. But, a professional online presence can really help a startup succeed faster.
The logo mark can be used to "hold" visual NFTs. The shapes and angles of the logo can also be used as graphic backgrounds and inform the rounded corners of the UI elements. Stock 3D assets were manipulated and branded to make them ownable while keeping the budget and timing more scrappy than custom 3D for a startup.
